About us

C.R.E.A. Sanità, the Consortium for Applied Economic Research in Healthcare, is a non-profit consortium created in July 2013 by the Tor Vergata University of Rome and the Italian Federation of General Practitioners (FIMMG).

We locate, analyse and interpret the most relevant and up-to-date statistical and other information to provide sound bases for decision making by those working in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry, healthcare and government.

Under the chairmanship of Professor Federico Spandonaro, our multi-disciplinary team of researchers with over 20 years’ experience provides in-depth insights to problems in the fields of:

  • Pharmacoeconomics and medical statistics
  • HTA, medical devices and diagnostic and treatment processes
  • Healthcare policies
  • Databases
  • Healthcare training
